Frequently asked questions

Do I need to make an account?
No. There's no sign-up or login. Your progress is tied to your device.
Does the app work without wifi?
Yes. All word content is bundled with the app and works fully offline.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your streak resets. There's no catch-up or grace period — the next completed day starts a new streak.
Do the daily words repeat?
No. Every word is different from the day before, and words don't repeat within a year.
How do I cancel or change my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the App Store, not through us. See "Managing your subscription" below.
I reinstalled the app or got a new phone — how do I get my subscription back?
Open the app and use "Restore Purchases" on the subscription screen, signed in with the same Apple ID used to originally subscribe. This does not restore your streak or local progress — see below.
I lost my streak after reinstalling — can I get it back?
Unfortunately no. Streaks and progress are stored only on your device, not on a server, so they don't transfer between reinstalls or devices. This is a known trade-off of the app not requiring an account.
How do I delete my data?
In the app, go to Settings and select "Delete Account." This permanently wipes your local streaks, awards, and settings. Deleting the app has the same effect.

Managing your subscription

TP Word of the Day subscriptions are billed and managed through Apple, not directly by us. To view, change, or cancel your subscription:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions
  3. Select TP Word of the Day and make your changes

You can also get there directly from within the app via Settings → Manage Subscription.
